Easy Kid Snack – Chex

Preheat Oven to 250

– Box of Chex Cereal ( They were out, had to get generic )
– 2 Tablespoons of Lawry’s
– 3 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
– 1 or 1.25 Sticks of Butter

Optional – If you prefer Chex Mix
– M&Ms
– Pretzels
– Rye Chips

Melt your stick(s) of butter, you can microwave it or put it in the oven while it is preheating. If you want a stronger flavor, use the full 1.25 sticks of butter.

Add in the Worcestershire(Anybody else have to spellcheck to spell properly?) and Lawry’s Seasoning, thoroughly mixing them into the butter.

Gradually add in the Chex Cereal, mixing the cereal into the butter as you add more cereal. Try to coat all the cereal as you pour more in.

Once you have added the entire bag, put into the oven for 60 minutes, mixing the cereal around every 15 minutes(3 times throughout the 60 minutes)

Remove from Oven and let sit to cool off. If you are making a Chex Mix, add in the other goodies once it is cooled and mix around.

This has been one of my favorite snacks since I was a child and I still enjoy it to this day. Also, it is very popular among my children and their friends! Hope you enjoy!
