15 Minute Honey Garlic Chicken

This isn’t my all time favorite, but it tasted great, has a nice kick to it, and was
fast & simple to make.

– 2Lbs Chicken Breast or Tenderloins
– 4Tbs Minced Garlic
– 4Tbs Honey
– 4Tbs Soy Sauce
– Black Pepper
– Salt
– Olive Oil
– Red Pepper Flakes

After rinsing, cube your chicken and season lightly with salt and pepper.
( Careful with the Salt here as Soy has a lot of Salt or Sodium)

Something to do in general, but especially with raw chicken, make sure you are sliding your knife forward instead of just pushing downwards with it. I have a terrible habit of just wanting to chop through everything, which will tear up your chicken into small bits.

On Medium High Heat, evenly coat your pan in Olive Oil, and then once heated add in your Cubed Chicken. Cook for 4-5 Minutes before turning over.

After starting your chicken, mix together the Honey, Soy Sauce, and Minced Garlic.
If you want the extra kick, add in the Red Pepper Flakes.
Definitely recommended if you enjoy mildly spicy.

After cooking for 4-5 minutes and turning over, pour your Honey Garlic Sauce over the chicken, and let it cook for another 5-6 minutes. Stir the chicken frequently, every 45 seconds or so.

The majority of the sauce will cook into your chicken after 5-6 minutes, at which point it is finished and ready to plate. Hope you enjoy it as much, or more, than I did!

Overall, the Honey Garlic Chicken is something I will cook regularly. Simple ingredients, easy steps and quick to cook. I only made Garlic Parmesan Green Beans to go with it tonight, but next time I will have some Buttery White Rice to put under it as well.
